IG-5 was developed for the extreme conditions of off roading in the Amazon forest in Brazil, were deep Mud and Rocks are common.
The tread block was designed so that there is the maximum traction and less effort to clear the tires from mud situations. They are cold retreated tires to guarantee the best quality possible.
It is not a tire made for long travels on asphalt, nor for use at high speed, for safety the recommended for travels on asphalt is ALWAYS low speeds.
